Ever wonder what the Zoo is like once the visitors leave and the gates close?
Friday and Saturday Evenings
5:30pm to 7:30pm
Just as everyone else leaves the Zoo, you will be guided by educators on a two hour walking tour to learn about and visit with the Zoo’s most intriguing animals. Watch some of our animals prepare to sleep, while others are just waking up. Learn about the animals’ biology and behavior, and the role that the Zoo plays in conservation of our endangered species.
Adults (ages 13 and up): $ 20 Kama’ina: $15
Children (ages 3-12): $15 Kama’ina Kids: $10

Please join us at Gate #3 (Located on the far Side of the Zoo Parking Lot) between 5:00pm and 5:15pm. Your Education Guides will be there to greet you and check you in. Be sure to account for parking around the zoo if there is another community event such as a concert or Sunset on the Beach.
During the later fall, winter and early spring months, we will provide red-filtered flashlights to you at the beginning or during the tour. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Strollers and water bottles are welcome though we ask that no outside food be brought in. Tours will continue through light rain, so if necessary, be prepared for inclement weather. In the event of a heavy downpour, we will make every effort to reschedule or refund your tour. Refreshments of lemonade, water and a light snack will be provided after the tour.
We want you to enjoy this special tour, but if for any reason you can’t/don’t make it on your scheduled tour please keep the following in mind.
Twilight Tours are weather dependent. If any unforeseen event forces cancelation of a Twilight Tour you will be allowed to reschedule for another day at your convenience, or, if you prefer, a refund will be given, minus the 6% Fareharbor processing fee.
Friday and Saturday evening Twilight Tours refunds are possible as long as notice is given by 5 pm on Wednesday the week of the scheduled tour by sending an email to email@example.com. Refunds will be for the advertised purchase price but will not include the 6% Fareharbor processing fee.
If you miss a tour due to traffic, sickness, or other unforeseen reasons, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will attempt to make reasonable accommodation for you to attend another evening.
