White-Handed Gibbon Enrichment (Feeder Ball)

A 10" boomer ball was drilled with holes and partially filled with "Captain Crunch Cereal with Crunch Berries".

Japan, while holding baby Emma, poked her finger and thumb in the lower holes and was able to jiggle some of the cereal out which then dropped to the ground. She then climbed down to retrieve it before Micah or Sandy could get it.

All the gibbons took part in the foraging and exploring activity which lasted over 6 hours.

It was great enrichment activity with some cereal left in the ball on the second day!
