Kruger enjoys having his horn brushed as well as the sensitive area where his horn meets the skin. |
We use a long handled brush to rub his sensitive feet. |

How do you know when Kruger is happy? He will lift one leg in the air, curl his tail and start to lean! This only happens when you brush his feet. |
The volunteers brush his entire body. They also use their hands to rub the back of his soft ears, under his eyes and in the soft folds of his skin. |

| Sometimes he enjoys a bunch of fresh picked elephant grass as a treat. | Other than sweet oats, his favorite treat is an apple....make that many apples! |
