Stargazing at the Zoo
All ages
If you’re looking for a unique educational experience, you’ve found it! Stargazing at the Zoo is a 2 hour program featuring both an after-hours educational tour of the Zoo and a presentation in a portable planetarium provided by the University of Hawaiʻi Institute of Astronomy. The evening concludes with a biofact display, a constellation craft, light refreshments, and star gazing through telescopes. This popular event fascinates young and young-at-heart alike, and is only available during summer months.
